Bi-level Coordinated Optimal Scheduling Strategy for Active Distribution Network with Multi-Microgrids

Aiming at the economic challenges brought by multiple microgrids (MGs) connected to active distribution network (ADN), a bi-level optimization scheduling scheme is proposed considering the overall interests of ADN and MGs at the same time. A bi-level optimization model is established based on ADN and MGs respectively. The upper level takes the ADN as the research object considering the economy and security which takes the minimization of distribution network (DN) loss, comprehensive operation cost, and voltage stability index as the optimization objective. The lower level takes multi-MGs as the research object taking minimizing the operation cost of MGs as the optimization objective. The upper and lower levels are solved by the elitism strategy-adaptive genetic algorithm (ES-AGA) and the linearly decreasing inertia weight-improved particle swarm optimization algorithm (LDW-IPSO) respectively. An alternative iterative solution scheme using the bi-level heuristic algorithm is proposed, which establishes the relationship between the upper and lower levels through the continuous updating of the upper-level fitness function and the interaction of PCC power. Finally, the modified IEEE-33 bus system is simulated to verify the superiority of the proposed method in improving the economy and security of ADN.
