An Modeling and Configuration System for Power Standardization Document Based on IEC61850

The IEC 61850 standard holds great significance in power systems. However, challenges such as a large volume of model data, difficulties in manual modeling, and low editing efficiency have become prevalent industry issues. The State Grid, by integrating this standard with Hunan engineering practice, has introduced the power standardization document (PSD). In this study, an engineering modeling and configuration system for PSD based on IEC 61850 is constructed. This system is equipped with a robust intelligent parsing function, capable of precisely extracting and classifying the key information of models for display. It also enables intelligent verification and configuration, generating 61850-format and State Grid standardized modeling files. Practical applications demonstrate that this system remarkably enhances the efficiency of engineering modeling and configuration of PSD, substantially supports the improvement of power system operation and maintenance levels, and effectively addresses the problems associated with manual modeling due to model data concerns.
