Using Android to Showcase Arduino as a Powerful IOT Device

As technology advances further we are seeing more and more "smart" devices. Devices such as smart homes, smart thermostats, smart cars, etc.. are becoming more and more prevalent. As network professionals it becomes more and more important to have an understanding of how to manage and program these devices. We will create a simple smart device using a small computer device called an Arduino Board. These boards, and others like it, has become more commonly used to create IoT devices. Arduino provides professionals in many fields the ability to create IoT devices for almost anything. We will show a simple example of how Arduino can be used as a powerful IoT device to make just about anything "smart".
