Advancing Automated Software Testing: A Comparative Analysis of Emerging Testing Tools to generate and prioritize the Test Cases

Automation testing enhances software quality and efficiency. This paper proposes a two-phase model focusing on test prioritization and performance. The first phase automates test cases using the Test Studio Chrome Extension and ranks them via a Python algorithm. The second phase executes prioritized tests with Pytest, Selenium, Jasmine, and JUnit, comparing runtime, resource use, scalability, CI/CD integration, and reporting. The results help developers select the best tool, improving software quality and streamlining development.
