Research on Design of Intelligent Wearable Warning System for Work at Heights

To reduce the incidence of safety accidents in work at heights, an intelligent wearable warning system based on ESP32 was designed. The developed intelligent safety helmet enables real-time monitoring of the worker's fatigue state and environmental conditions. A safety management platform was built based on the Alibaba Cloud IoT platform, allowing safety managers to view real-time data collected by the intelligent safety helmet. Experimental results show that the proposed fatigue detection method has an 85% accuracy rate in detecting both fatigue and non-fatigue states during work. The wind speed sensor used in the system has a relative error of less than 10% at high wind speeds. The system's warning module can issue different levels of warnings based on data collected by the fatigue detection module and the environmental monitoring module. The research findings provide valuable references and bases for preventing safety accidents in work at heights.
