Research on BIM Forward Design Methods and Applications

Based on BIM platform and the secondary development technology of Civil 3D Subassembly Composer, taking retaining walls as an example, this paper summarizes a set of three-dimensional visual modeling methods for structures, which preliminarily solves the problem of parameterized forward design of linear engineering such as retaining walls, roads, waterways, and multi-level slopes. It supports automatic layout of plan drawings, automatic drawing of vertical and cross-sectional construction drawings, automatic statistics of engineering quantities, three-dimensional information modeling and 3D printing technology. It is the trend of liberating productivity and improving design accuracy, providing reference for similar projects.
