Analysis of the Application of Tensile Integral Structure in Indoor Furnishings

At present, the application of tensioned monolithic structure in indoor furnishings has not been fully paid attention to, and the traditional furnishings have problems such as low space utilization and lack of structural flexibility. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the application of tensioned monolithic structure in indoor furnishings to improve space utilization and aesthetics. The research methodology includes firstly literature review on the design principles of tensioned monolithic structure, then selecting an actual project as a case for in-depth analysis, structural design through 3D modeling software, and evaluation of the stability and bearing capacity of the structure in combination with mechanical analysis software. The experimental results show that the space utilization rate is increased to 87.8 % after adopting the tensioned monolithic structure, which means that under the same area, a larger display space can be realized by using the tensioned structure, and the gravity load dispersal effect is remarkable, with the maximum bearing capacity of the structure reaching 500 kg /m². The conclusion shows that the tensile monolithic structure not only can effectively solve the space and flexibility problems existing in the traditional indoor furnishings, but also provides a new idea and direction for the modern interior design, which has a good application prospect.
