For Flatfoot Plantar Pressure Characteristics and Foot Morphology a Study of the Comfort Design of Athletic Shoes

In order to optimize the plantar pressure distribution of flat foot group and improve the wearing comfort of sports shoes for flat foot group, a parametric insole design method based on plantar pressure characteristics is proposed. Firstly, the pressure data of 10 regions of the plantar surface of flat-footed subjects were obtained through the pressure acquisition platform, and the static plantar pressure distribution cloud map was obtained. Secondly, the insole structure density mapping point set based on the plantar pressure cloud map is constructed through the grasshopper parameterization plug-in, and the skeleton structural line and lattice solid support structure based on the mapping point set are built, so as to further design the parameterized insole and lightweight shoe body that have a high degree of foot match with the flat foot subjects. Eventually, the experimental results show that the 3D printed parametric insole design for the plantar pressure characteristics of flat feet can effectively reduce the plantar pressure concentration area and improve the plantar contact area of the insole; to achieve the purpose of improving the comfort of the flat foot group.
