The Application of Style Transfer Algorithms in the Innovative Design of Miao Ethnic Embroidery Patterns

To protect and preserve the important intangible cultural heritage of Miao embroidery patterns and promote their innovative development, this study proposes a method using computer technology for digital protection and creative design. The research first conducted a systematic investigation and analysis of Miao embroidery patterns, extracting and collecting relevant patterns. Subsequently, residual neural networks and style transfer algorithms from computer-aided technology were employed to innovate the design of the features and styles of Miao embroidery patterns. The findings indicate that this approach not only facilitates the self-renewal of traditional patterns but also effectively enhances the cultural value of Miao embroidery designs, promoting their innovative development within a modern context.
