Smart School Bus Monitoring With a Security System Based On IoT

Our innovative transportation system for institutions ensures student safety and alleviates parental anxiety through advanced features like real-time vehicle tracking, student monitoring, and alerting capabilities. Utilizing components such as GPS, RFID technology, and ESP CAM, the system provides comprehensive data including bus schedules, live bus locations, student pick-up/drop-off information with images sent via Telegram, and alerts in case of emergencies. By storing data on the school website and sending SMS notifications to parents, both school administrators and parents can actively monitor students’ whereabouts. ESP-Cam camera captures photos of the students, while an OLED display provides onsite data monitoring. The SIM800L module transfers data to the server using the HTTPS communication protocol. The system comprises bus, parent, and school units, facilitating seamless communication and management. With its IoT driven approach, our solution guarantees a smart, secure, and technology-driven transportation system, fostering collaboration between school authorities and parents for enhanced student safety and peace of mind.
