Stakeholder Perspectives on Resource Development and Management in Daraga Community College

The study aims to investigate the stakeholder’s experiences at Daraga Community College regarding resource development and management. It addresses several key areas: the status of human resources, budget and finance, time management, policies and standards, equipment, facilities, library and instructional resources, and communication networks. Also, the study examines stakeholder practices in planning and budgeting, staffing and organizing, coordinating and controlling, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The study utilized a case study approach with data collected from 35 internal and external stakeholders, including instructors, administrators, non-teaching staff, and Board of Trustees members through document analysis and interviews. As a result, resources are available, and significant improvements are necessary to accommodate the growing student population. The stakeholders are engaged in various resource management practices; however, there are challenges that need to be addressed. The study concluded that the proposed 4S Management Model aimed to enhance the resource development and management at Daraga Community College. This model focuses on building the college’s capacity to deliver quality education while fostering collaboration among stakeholders and promoting shared responsibilities in managing available resources effectively.
