Optimized Emergency Communication System for Effective Disaster Management

The frequency of disasters has been rising rapidly, yet an efficient disaster management system remains lacking. Effective coordination between the public and trained professionals is crucial for timely rescue and relief efforts. Minimizing response time through better information management is essential in crisis situations. With the widespread use of smartphones, mobile technology offers a powerful solution for disaster response. This paper reviews existing disaster management systems, analyzing their strengths and limitations. Based on these insights, a Progressive Web Application (PW A) is proposed to enhance disaster response. Leveraging modern web technologies, the PW A provides a reliable, user-friendly platform for real-time communication, resource coordination, and information dissemination. By integrating with government agencies, hospitals, and emergency teams, the application aims to bridge gaps in traditional response mechanisms. Future research directions focus on optimizing this integration to create a more effective, technology-driven disaster management system.
