The current manual system is affected by issues including Fraud & Corruption, Long Queue Time, Not Enough Quantity Distributed, Stock Mismanagement, Human Error in Record Keeping, Fixed Timings and Limited Accessibility, Lack of Transaction Transparency, Low Weighing Accuracy, High Human Dependence & Inefficiency such as diversion of ration this paper comes up with the design and development of an Automatic Ration Vending using RFID (A-PDS). This computerized method ensures safe transactions, removes the element of human error, and provides greater transparency in ration distribution. The machine has load cell-based accuracy measurement to avoid any variations in quantity distribution, which provides fairness and accuracy for the consumers. The system also has a real-time transaction database and inventory level, which enables the beneficiaries to view their ration entitlements. The system aims to eliminate manual processes in ration shops. Beneficiaries can check stock online, transaction is stored in a database, and the distribution of basic commodities is ensured to be transparent and responsible. With an efficient and easy-to-use interface, the project empowers people, simplifies the process, and minimizes issues such as commodities diversion. The equipment ensures accurate commodities distribution by having automated weighing andfilling systems, which reduces human errors and malpractices. Through minimizing wastage of resources and inefficiencies in traditional ration shops, this innovation enhances the Public Distribution System and ensures even access to subsidized commodities.
