Integrating Edge AI with Holographic Beamforming Using AI-Driven Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) in 6G Networks

Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) have emerged as an evolving technology for 6G networks, enabling dynamic control of wireless signals through smart, reflective surfaces. This paper explores the integration of holographic beamforming and AI-driven RIS to enhance 6G connectivity which is achieved with the help of LEO(Low Earth Orbit) Satellite, focusing on applications such as holographic calls, edge AI processing, and secure communication. We propose a framework that leverages Edge AI for real-time signal optimization, energy efficiency, and low-latency holographic data processing. Additionally, we address deployment challenges, including infrastructure requirements and energy consumption, and propose solutions such as integrated access-backhaul networks and backscatter communication. The results demonstrate the potential of AI-driven RIS to revolutionize 6G networks, enabling seamless, secure, and energy-efficient connectivity for next-generation applications.
