Intelligent Walking Stick for Visually Challenged

Our creative approach is on enhancing visually impaired people's mobility through the integration of Internet of Things technologies into an intelligent walking stick. This gadget actively detects obstructions and potential water hazards thanks to its ultrasonic and water sensors. A buzzer and vibration motor warn the user when an obstruction is detected. By giving users immediate audio feedback about their surroundings, wireless earphones increase safety. Not only does this electronic walking stick overcome the drawbacks of conventional sticks, but it also provides visually impaired people with a comprehensive and practical tool to enable them to securely and independently traverse their surroundings.
