Development of an Arduino-Powered Firefighting Robot for Accurate Fire Detection, Suppression, and Metal Detection

This research focuses on reducing the dangers of explosions and fires, particularly in military settings where human involvement in fire detection and suppression is risky. This study suggests an independent firefighting solution managed by an Arduino microcontroller. By integrating three flame sensors and a water ejector into a firefighting robot, the system could detect and extinguish fires without human intervention. The precise positioning of the water ejector pipe, controlled by a servo motor, improved the effectiveness of the robot in fire suppression. The Arduino UNO microcontroller coordinates with the entire system. Tests confirmed the ability of the robot to accurately detect and extinguish fires and identify metal particles, including bomb fragments. These findings highlight the effectiveness of the Arduino-powered firefighting robot in improving the fire safety in hazardous environments. In summary, this research emphasizes the crucial role of independent firefighting systems in reducing risks and protecting people and property. Utilizing technologies such as Arduino microcontrollers has the potential to advance firefighting robotics and enhance safety measures in various fields including military operations.
