Destination STEMM Mentoring Programme: Bridging Equity Gaps in STEMM Education

The Destination STEMM (Destination STEMM)¹¹Windsor Fellowship is a national race equality and social justice charity established in 1986, following the 1981 UK race riots and the 1984 Windsor Conference. Mathematics and Statistics Mentoring programme addresses systemic inequities in STEMM education. Established by UCL in collaboration with Windsor Fellowship, this initiative leverages positive action to target BAME and female A-Level students while equipping international mentors with pedagogical skills. Through a four-year review, this paper explores the programme's design, implementation, and impact.
