IIBCDP: Intelligent IoT Based Bluetooth Controlled Wheel Chair for Impaired Person

A healthy individual can carry out his responsibilities without the assistance of others, but a physically handicapped person, whether from birth or due to some mishap in his life, is dependent on others even to execute his basic work. The objective of this research is to develop Bluetooth-controlled smart wheelchair assistive systems for physically challenged people. The affordability of wheelchairs is addressed. It is battery-operated and uses handles to provide left and right movements. We have addressed the mode of operation of the wheelchair robot, which can move over curbs, steep inclinations, and conventional highways at a speed of 6 km/hr or up to 32 km in 5.32 hours at a stretch. To ensure the user's safety, the wheel chair comes with a safety belt.
