A Structured Query Language-Based Transplant Tracking for Secure and Transparent Organ Donation

Aim: To improve accountability, transparency, and the general effectiveness of the organ and medication donation process by creating a safe and effective administration system utilizing blockchain technology and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC). Materials and Methods: The work proposed two groups. Group 1 implemented the RSA blockchain algorithm with a 256 bit key size, while Group 2 implemented the ECC blockchain algorithm with a 256 bit key size. The G Power value is set to 80 % with a threshold of 0.05 % and a confidence interval of 95 %. Result: In terms of accuracy, the ECC-based blockchain solution performed better than the RSA method. The ECC method achieved an accuracy range of 94.5 % to 97.3 %, whereas the RSA algorithm achieved an accuracy range of 85.7 % to 89.2 %. Furthermore, in terms of encryption and decryption timings, the ECC method outperformed RSA in terms of speed and computing overhead. A t-test significance of (p < 0.05) indicates that the ECC algorithm matches organ donors and receivers more accurately than the RSA scheme. Conclusion: In this work it is noted that ECC Algorithm has got significantly superior improvement over RSA Algorithm.
