Exploring the Factors Shaping Customer Preferences in Online Food Delivery Apps

Growing restaurant patronage and changing consumer preferences have contributed to the growth of online food delivery apps in recent years. Hotels and restaurants can now offer online ordering thanks to the Online Food Ordering System, which was created especially for the food delivery sector. Modern food delivery services guarantee prompt and effective doorstep delivery, and customers can easily choose the food items they want in a matter of minutes. These platforms have become an essential part of our lives during the global pandemic by diversifying their offerings to include medications and everyday necessities. In this study, we examine user preferences across Uber Eats, Food Panda, Zomato, and Swiggy, four popular food delivery apps. We look at the main variables affecting consumer decisions, such as gender, age range, profession, customer service, special offers, and app usability.
