Design of Integrated Stepper Motor Field Oriented Control and Drive Based on ESP32-S3

In view of the large size of the traditional stepper motor drive system, it is not conducive to the miniaturization and integrated design of equipment. An integrated stepper motor field oriented drive control system based on ESP32-S3 is designed. The system uses ESP32-S3 and DRV8962 as the driving core, designed the integrated stepper motor magnetic field orientation control drive hardware circuit, which is installed in the rear of the stepper motor, realized the high integration of the stepper motor and the driver, effectively reduced the system volume, simplified the design structure and reduced the cost. The magnetic field oriented control (FOC) is used in stepper motor control. The experimental results show that under the control of FOC algorithm, the system has the advantages of fast zero-speed no-load start-up response, adaptive adjustment ability to interference, etc., which can meet the application requirements of automatic production line, textile machinery, SMT machine, etc., and has high practical value.
