Racket, Rhythm, and Results: Assessment of Factors Leading to Transformation of Badminton Teaching Based on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Extended DEMATEL Method

The proposed research extends the decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) through the combination of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) and multiple decision-maker (DMK) participation. The proposed extension addresses traditional DEMATEL methodology biases that stem from using a single DMK through effective mitigation. Intuitionistic fuzzy logic enhances precision and reliability in decision-making (DM) processes through an extended approach to handling complex decision problems. The proposed solution is implemented in the significant case study to assess factors leading to the transformation of badminton teaching and determine which factors shape badminton teaching success. The research identified adaptability and pacing ${\mu }_{3 }$ , shot execution ${\mu }_{2 }$ and technical proficiency ${\mu }_{5 }$ as cause factors that directly impact teaching outcomes. However, changing rhythm ${\mu }_{4 }$ and racket weight, balance, string tension ${\mu }_{1 }$ along with mental focus and adaptability ${\mu }_{6 }$ belong to the effect group, which depends on the cause factors. Teaching methodologies of modern badminton should include adaptable methods, pace control, and precision technique instruction to improve athlete performance levels. The research enhances DEMATEL methodology and sports teaching strategy improvement through multiple DMK integration and IF logic applications.
