Web-Based Application to Calculate the Angle of Frozen Shoulder Using AI and Machine Learning With Ayurveda Integration

Adhesive capsulitis, often known as frozen shoulder, is a persistent illness that causes discomfort, stiffness, and limited shoulder mobility, greatly affecting a person's quality of life. Although it can happen later in life, the disorder primarily affects people between the ages of 40 and 59, with a frequency of 3 % to 5 % in the general population. The efficacy of traditional diagnostic and therapeutic approaches is typically limited by their lack of accuracy, real-time feedback, and personalisation. Furthermore, patients usually find it difficult to complete the recommended at-home rehabilitation activities, and recovery is made more difficult by the lack of clinical personnel to oversee these exercises. We suggest a web-based tool that uses AI and machine learning to precisely measure shoulder angles and offer realtime progress tracking in order to overcome these difficulties. By incorporating Ayurvedic concepts, the method provides holistic suggestions like yoga, herbal medicines, and lifestyle changes. To enhance clinical monitoring and guarantee adherence to recommended exercises, we also create a wearable-based frozen shoulder rehabilitation exercise recogniser. This creative method improves therapeutic results and patient involvement by bridging the gap between contemporary technology and conventional thinking. The results imply that Ayurveda and AI-driven systems can provide musculoskeletal rehabilitation with individualised, scalable, and affordable treatment.
