Cryptography and Steganography Fusion for Robust Cloud File Protection

Cloud computing is that technology can be used to store those massive data sets. How fast the technology is growing, it makes more critical. Thus, it has become urgent to make data safe from attackers to preserve data integrity, confidentiality, protection, privacy, and procedures that are involved in dealing with them. To develop a secure cloud storage system that protects sensitive data using advanced encryption techniques, steganography for secure key management, and time-based access control to ensure that only authorized users can access data within a specified timeframe. Data cryptography mainly is the process of converting the text, image, audio, video and more into a complicated form so that it becomes unreadable, invisible or nonsense during transmission or storage known as Encryption. The main objective of the cryptography is to protect data from intruders. The process of retrieving the data from encrypted data is decryption, which retrieves the original data. The proposed system enhances security of data using AES, DES, RC6. Each of them uses 128 -bit keys. To securely store the key information LSB steganography technique is used. The key information will contain the information about the encrypted part of the file, the algorithm and the key for the algorithm. The uploaded file will be encrypted with the help of different encryption algorithm based upon user interest by the use of the multithreading technique. The information is inserted into an image using the LSB technique. Here, in this application, the key will be shared to the authenticated user with the help of time-based access control method. Only the users having a satisfied decryption key and within the limit of time control can access the shared data.
