Multipurpose All Terrain Tract Robot

This paper presents the Multipurpose All Terrain Tract Robot (MATTR), an innovative and modular robotic platform engineered to address critical limitations in current outdoor robotic systems, such as poor terrain adaptability and high complexity. The primary objective of MATTR is to create a highly adaptable terrain navigation system with its AI driven object tracking system, a dual-mode control system that incorporates both autonomous and manual operation of the robot with its detachable modules while displaying real-time vision feedback to the control system on display. These objectives were possible due to its scalable Arduino Uno/Nano framework controlling the plug-and-play modularity which the current industries and research platforms are lacking. MATTR's evaluations showed its capability in navigating inclined surfaces, carrying loads, and maintaining consistent performance at speeds across diverse terrains, supported by a dual Hercules motors and computational framework that guarantees minimal latency in sensor data processing. MATTR demonstrates an increase in energy efficiency and augmentation in payload capacity relative to existing solutions. The robot's sophisticated vision-based tracking, sensor integration, and autonomous navigation render it appropriate for applications such as surveillance, search and rescue and industrial automation, establishing it as a revolutionary solution for both industry and academia.
