The AN/APS-20 radar in use with the British FAA and RAF

The AN/APS-20 radar was used for both AEW and airborne ASW applications, entering service with the US Navy in 1945. The design and operation of this family of radars is described, with reference to its use with the British Royal Navy and Royal Air Force, over the period from 1951 to 1990.
