A Methodology for Assessing Vulnerable Lines in Offshore Wind-containing power Systems Considering the Impact of Typhoons

Aiming at the impact of typhoons on offshore wind power system lines, this paper is devoted to researching and proposing a method for assessing vulnerable lines of offshore wind power systems containing offshore wind power systems that can consider the impact of typhoons. First, this paper establishes the Batts typhoon model and proposes a line failure rate model directly caused by typhoon wind speed. Next, this paper proposes an assessment process for vulnerable lines. Considering the volatility of wind power output caused by typhoon wind speed and the temporal sequence of typhoon impacts, this paper introduces the wind power output model and establishes a model for the risk of line current overruns in the power system by combining with Dynamic Bayesian Network (DBN). Then, this paper proposes two lines vulnerability indicators, the direct failure rate and the tidal current overrun rate of the line. Finally, this paper analyzes the examples to verify the rationality and practicality of the vulnerable line assessment method studied in this paper.
