GIS Switch Contact Fault Simulation Analysis

With the widespread use of GIS equipment, the eccentricity failure of GIS switch contacts due to equipment assembly has also increased. In view of this fault phenomenon, the finite element software was used to build an eccentric fault model, and the overall acceleration of the switch model was analyzed, and the acceleration was mainly concentrated at the top of the shell and the contact. A point probe was added to the top of the shell to observe the dynamic response characteristics of the top of the shell under different current conditions, and it was found that the vibration acceleration under the contact eccentric fault increased from 0.01 m/s2 to 0.307 m/s2 with the increase of current, and the frequency domain was mainly 50Hz and 100Hz, which was consistent with the frequency domain characteristics of the actual faulty equipment, which further verified the accuracy of the model.
