Resilience Enhancement of Polar Electric-Thermal Integrated Energy Systems with Energy Storage

To address the issue of energy supply interruptions caused by extreme events in Antarctic scientific expeditions, an innovative resilience enhancement strategy for polar electric-thermal integrated energy system (ETIES) with energy storage is proposed. The fault propagation mechanism between ETIES is expounded, and the importance of the real-time compensation ability of energy storage (ES) in the service recovery stage to ensure the stability of system energy supply is discussed. The results show that this method can be applied to the formulation of post-disaster resilience improvement strategies for the ETIES of Zhongshan Station in Antarctica to ensure the continuous energy supply of the system in extreme environments.
