Millimeter-Wave Beamforming System Assists in Human Body Moisture Detection

This study explores a non-invasive approach to human body moisture content detection using millimeter wave (mm-Wave) technology. Millimeter waves have non-ionizing and non-contact characteristics, making them suitable for frequent physiological monitoring. It is particularly suitable for detecting water-related diseases such as congestive heart failure, lung fluid, and cancerous tissue. The signal reflection intensity of millimeter waves depends on the dielectric coefficient of the tissue, which can reflect different moisture contents. Beamforming technology is applied in the research to improve the signal strength in the target area and accurately measure the water content in the human body, providing a safe and reliable technical solution for clinical diagnosis and daily health monitoring.
