Extreme Learning Machine based Smart Rose Cultivation Incorporated with IoT Sensors

Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of interlinked devices with many sensors, software and other advanced technology for the communication of data. It is the widely used technology in the modern real time application. In this work we have utilized it for the cultivation of smart rose garden. It is the delightful fusion of IoT and the nature and provides better rose cultivation. The sensors of IoT can be used to monitor various parameters such as temperature, soil moisture, remote controlling and monitoring etc., the data that are collected from the sensors are stored to the cloud based server for further insightful analyzing. From the stored data, the artificial intelligence technique Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) is used to predict the various parameters such as disease, nutrient deficiency, and soil moisture level. The proposed technique effectively predicts the parameters and alerts the farmers continuously about the defects and make the rose cultivation very reliable. Simulations are Python and for smart farming Raspberry Pi based microcontroller is used. The output states that the proposed work surpasses all the existing works and provides better rose cultivation by maintain the environment as healthier as possible.
