Next-Gen Power Board PCB Design for EV Applications

This initiative seeks to develop an advanced power conversion system designed specifically for onboard chargers in electric vehicles (EVs). The system proficiently trans- forms grid-supplied alternating current (AC) into a consistent direct current (DC) voltage, essential for charging the EV battery efficiently. The architecture comprises a rectifier, a DC-DC converter, and an intelligent control unit that meticulously regulates both voltage and current, thereby assuring safe and effective charging processes. It functions in both constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) operational modes, with an intricate power management scheme facilitated by a proportional-integral (PI) controller and pulse generation circuits. The printed circuit board (PCB) design files will encompass the necessary schematic diagrams and routing information required for the production of this next-generation Power Board.
