Smart Water Pumping Solution using Bifacial Solar Panels for Enhanced Efficiency

Rapid advancements in water pumping technology are being seen in structures, production facilities, and in farm equipment. PV systems are becoming more and more popular in domestic as well as agriculture since they provide a wide range of uses for domestic purposes. In isolated locations where conventional power sources are unreliable or unfeasible, these systems are very helpful. One of the best applications is solar-powered water pumping, which provides water to domestic use, cattle and also to crops. The two primary materials of a solar water pump system are pumps and solar panels. Solar panels are made up of the smallest components of solar cells. Every cell has layers of unique materials that, when exposed to sunlight, produce power. When there is a source of sun, this DC power can be delivered straight to a pump; otherwise, it can be stored in batteries for future usage. The proposed system employs bifacial solar panel catches sunlight, hence power is generated. Statistical analysis proves that it is bound to be highly performance consistent at a peak power output of 249.5 W at 1000 W/m² irradiance while being consistent at low light levels, which assures uninterrupted working. It is a much more efficient, economic, and environment-friendly set up of the integration of bifacial solar panels with battery storage, which retains a continuous flow of water through it and less space occupancy. All this would make for less water consumption, smooth, unbroken continuous operations, and make this system a substitute to existing system in the conventional way for domestic applications.
