Measures to Improve the Qualification Rate of Optical Cable Fusion Splicing Operations

The power communication network emerged to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system. It is collectively referred to as the three pillars of safe and stable operation of the power system, along with the relay protection and safety stability control system, as well as the dispatch automation system. It is an important means to ensure the safe, stable, and economical operation of the power grid; It is an important infrastructure of the power system. Due to the extremely strict requirements of the power communication network for the reliability of communication, the speed and accuracy of protection and control information transmission are ensured. Therefore, improving the qualification rate of power communication operations is crucial. This article investigates the fiber optic cable splicing situation of State Grid Fushun Power Supply Company and finds that the qualification rate of fiber optic cable splicing operations in Fushun area is relatively low, and this problem urgently needs to be solved. This article identifies the key issues of low qualification rate for fiber optic cable fusion splicing through classification statistics and full process analysis, which are the lack of identification equipment and excessive single person sorting times. Measures have been developed for the production of a collection type line sequence recognizer and a color rotation sorting method. Effectively reducing the qualification rate of optical cable splicing operations, we need to improve the reliability of power communication and the stable operation of power communication systems.
