Orthogonality Sampling Method for a Fast Object Detection from 2D Fresnel Dataset

It has been confirmed that the orthogonality sampling method is a very fast, stable, and effective imaging technique in various inverse scattering problems and microwave imaging. In this contribution, we apply the orthogonality sampling method with single and multiple sources from two-dimensional Fresnel experimental dataset for a real-time identification of small objects. To this end, we design imaging functions of the orthogonality sampling method with single and multiple sources, and show that the imaging functions can be represented as an infinite series of Bessel function of integer order of the first kind to show the availability of object detection. and exhibit numerical simulation results.
