Measuring the degree of deformation of solids is a necessary measure in many areas of science. Sensor equipment containing load cells can perform such a measurement. This type of sensor uses a special type of resistor - a strain gauge. Various ways to incorporate these electronic components into the load cell circuit are described in this article. Using linear equations, numerical characteristics are calculated for different switching options, for example, the sensor sensitivity. Considered schemes for connecting different numbers of active and compensating strain gages to the measuring bridge are considered.
