Intelligent Recognition Assisted Medicine Box for Aging

Aiming at the problem of timely and safe medication for the elderly, this paper uses STM32 as the main control Microcontroller Unit and JETSON nano as the image processing module, and designs a set of automatic pet feeding system using WiFi communication for remote control. The user remotely reminds the elderly to take medication in time through the sound module, and after the medicine box recognizes the face of the elderly and unlocks it, it passes the data through the serial port to the STM32, which controls the stepping motor to open and close according to the received signals, realizing the intelligent and safe taking of medication. While STM32 controls the operation of the motor, STM32 and the relay will feed back to the user according to the current recorded residual weight, realizing the process of changing and taking medicine in time. The system runs stably and is able to strictly execute the process of supervising the medication taking; it is highly malleable, transplantable and convenient to use.
