Hand Gesture Controlled Drone with QR Code Authentication for Autonomous Charging

Drones are employed routinely in a variety of industries, ranging from surveillance to logistics and automation; however, their efficiency is compromised by conventional control processes and inefficient charging processes. To achieve peak operating flexibility, precision, and safety, this paper proposes an innovative gesture-controlled drone control system with QR code-based authentication for safe wireless charging. Secure wireless charging through QR codes is complemented by a gesture-controlled interface to replace manual control and charging processes. Drone control is facilitated and rendered user-friendly by the capability of Python-powered image recognition, employing hand gestures to control the speed of drone motors. QR codes offer secure and automatic authentication for wireless charging. Conjoining secure wireless charging with gesture control provides an efficient and scalable solution for industrial commercial applications like surveillance and monitoring.
