Innovative Hybrid Strategy for Order Reduction of Linear System and DC Motor Speed Control

The work presented here Proposed a hybrid method for the reduction of order in linear systems. In this presented hybrid method, aspects from the traditional method and an optimization method developed recently have been adopted on high order system (HOS) order reduction. This Combined method has been applied to two HOS. The numerator coefficients of the Reduced System (RS) are computed using the Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm (AOA) and the denominator coefficients of the RS are obtained using the Stability Equation Method (SEM) while using ISE as an Objective Function for order reduction to diminish the variance among the HOS and the Proposed RS. The performance parameters have been estimated using the Proposed hybrid method and compared with the existing method. Using the Proposed Method, Transient Parameters are also estimated and compared with the other methods. The Proposed RS showed very high accuracy in comparison with the existing methods. Furthermore, the use of an AOA application with the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller has been employed for controlling the speed of the DC motor and the Objective Function adopted in this work was Integral of Time Absolute Error (ITAE).
