The Role of Artificial Intelligence in the Improvement of Biomedical Implants

As the need for health care is increasing, the requirement for biomedical coatings on implants needs to be optimized. But it cannot be possible by human potential only. So, in this paper we review how Artificial intelligence and machine learning is effectively used in finalizing the material, size and composition of the implants coated with biomedical coatings. The rapid development of AI in recent years has spawned numerous new fields of application. The development of machine learning and deep learning methods has been a major factor in this expansion. Thermally sprayed hydroxyapatite coatings have the potential to improve a number of medical uses. Because of its role in the establishment of this biological bond, hydroxyapatite is considered a bioactive and osteo-conductive material that can be used to create a solid and long-lasting connection with the surrounding bone tissue. Thermal spraying of HAp-based bio ceramic coatings on titanium plates was achieved with the help of HVSFS, APS, and HVOF. In recent years, hydroxyapatite has gained significant attention in the biomaterials and surface coatings communities (HA). Coated implants with HA offer superior mechanical qualities and are highly compatible with the body. This is because the HA provides a permeable layer of protection. The plasma-sprayed hydroxyapatite covering exhibited high Young's modulus and crystalline strength with low porosity and great adherence. This research work helps creating the education and a healthy biomedical environment for the poor and rich all section of patients.
