Smart Door Security System with Facial Recognition: Design and Implementation

This research paper introduces an innovative approach to enhance home security through a smart door unlock system utilizing facial recognition technology. The system stores authorized faces in a database and empowers administrators to make real-time decisions on granting access to unauthorized individuals. Leveraging the capabilities of ESP32Cam controller and a sensor network, our proposed model ensures secure, scalable, and efficient access control. The framework offers decentralization of information within the home environment, en-suring protection for both residents and customers alike. Through exhaustive theoretical analysis and extensive experimentation across various scenarios, the paper demonstrates the effectiveness and significance of our smart door unlock system in modern home automation.
