Application Research of Observation System of Smart Orchard Based on Machine Learning - A Case Study of Guangzhou Conghua Litchi Garden

With the progress of science and technology and the development of agricultural modernization, smart agriculture has become an important direction to promote the transformation and upgrading of agricultural industry. As an important litchi production base in South China, the traditional management mode of Guangzhou Conghua Litchi Garden is faced with problems such as delayed information acquisition, difficult disease and pest control and low resource utilization efficiency. This paper focuses on Guangzhou Conghua Litchi Orchard, and discusses the practical effect and potential of building an efficient and accurate intelligent orchard management system based on UAV technology and machine vision, especially in the litchi industry. The system integrates advanced UAV platform, high-definition imaging system and machine vision algorithm to realize real-time monitoring of lychee growing environment, intelligent identification and control of pests and diseases, and automation and intelligence of orchard management. This study not only analyzes the theoretical basis and technical framework of the technology, but also verifies the effectiveness and practicability of the system through actual case analysis and research, which provides strong support for the sustainable development of the smart orchard.
