Ruggedized Composite Alpha and Beta Particle Scintillator Dataset

We present a new dataset containing approximately 120,000 captures of scintillated light wave-forms produced by the interactions of Alpha and Beta particles in a novel ruggedized composite scintillator. The dataset encompasses 60,000 wave-forms each originating from Alpha and Beta particles across an energy spectrum that is representative of multiple sources of emission. Alpha and Beta particle data is taken at multiple distances from the detector to prevent biasing the dataset towards the highest energies. This comprehensive dataset composes all the data that would be necessary to tailor a discrimination algorithm to this specific scintillator.
