Evaluation of the Impact of Microwave Electromagnetic Fields on Humans

This paper examines the impact of microwave electromagnetic fields (EMF) on humans. The effects of microwave EMF exposure are considered, and the negative impact on critical organs and body systems, such as the cardiovascular and nervous systems, is shown. The standards for exposure to microwave EMF in industrial and non-industrial activities are considered. The hygienic standardization of microwave EMF in land mobile radio communication systems is considered. The main methods of protection against microwave EMF are analyzed. Modeling of EMF impact on a biological object (human head) was carried out in the program for numerical simulation of high-frequency devices CST MICROWAVE STUDIO (CST MWS). A microwave oven was considered as a model of the device. A protective screen was calculated. It was found that being near the developed microwave oven model will not cause significant harm to human health. The development of measures aimed at improving the safety of using microwave devices was carried out.
