Optimizing Travel for a Greener Future: AI-Driven Route Planning and Eco-Conscious Mobility

Sustainable travel and transport are a pressing issue in today's world and thus the need to come up with solutions that minimize impact on the environment and at the same time optimize experiences of the end user are necessary. The research topic of this paper uses Artificial Intelligence for sustainable travel and Transportation. It can be augmented using CNN in tandem with an A* algorithm to create real-time traffic and environmental optimized routes. Emission-based heuristics and gamification also facilitate safe and sustainable travel decisions. Some features are Eco-Conqueror, which provides individualized itineraries, rewards sustainable behavior and shows one's carbon footprint and the Group Travel Hub, which allows joint planning of travel arrangements and expenses. These innovations correspond to international sustainability trends, thus providing user-friendly innovations for economic carbon footprint decrease and effective travel optimization. The Carbon Emission module rewards users with game-based points for sustainability achievements and proposed eco-friendly routes through its platform.
