Research of Commercial Aircraft IMA-Resident Distributed Control Panel Assembly Architecture

In the field of commercial aircraft, Control panel assembly are the direct interface between pilots and aircraft systems. Well-designed Control panel assembly can reduce the workload of pilots and improve operational efficiency. Considering the limitations of traditional architecture, such as independent wiring, poor maintainability, and the potential for catastrophic consequences from core equipment failure, this paper explores the potential application of IMA-resident technology and integrated software and hardware technology in enhancing the performance of control panel assembly system. This paper proposes a distributed control panel assembly architecture design based on IMA residency, aiming to improve system reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance the competitiveness of the aircraft's main manufacturer's products. The paper further elaborates on the performance optimization analysis of this architecture and looks forward to the future development trends of Control panel assembly and potential challenges.
