Risk Assessment and Control Strategy Based on Civil Aircraft Environmental Control System Project

Civil aircraft risk management is of great significance in improving system reliability, ensuring flight safety, optimizing design and maintenance, etc. This paper studies the civil aircraft risk management process, taking the environmental control system components as an example to conduct risk management and control. According to the risk rating assessment table proposed in this article, the probability of the occurrence of a risk event is assessed for the Air Cycle Machine (ACM) jamming. The likelihood of a jamming occurring is determined to be rated at 6. And the impact rating of the risk event is assessed as 6. The risk probability index is 60. Based on the results obtained from this evaluation method, the engineering team has developed appropriate risk countermeasures and regularly tracks the implementation of measures. We do our best to ensure the successful development of the aircraft's environmental control system with an effective risk assessment and control Strategy.
