Empowering Knowledge Management by Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) in Firm-hosted Online Communities

Firm-hosted online communities, as a kind of typical online platform connecting enterprises and users, play an important role in user-related knowledge management. Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) brings about changes in the logic of knowledge production which have a series of impacts on user-related knowledge management in firm-hosted online communities, such as user socialization, brand marketing, user services, and user innovation. Based on the "requirement-function-technology" framework, this paper explores the relationship between the knowledge management requirements and the availability of AIGC, and analyzes the transformation of knowledge management empowered by AIGC in firm-hosted online communities.
