Far-Field Radiation Computation from Composite Maritime Targets via Improved MoM-PO Algorithm

The method of moments-physical optics (MOM-PO) hybrid algorithm is effective in calculating the far-field radiation of targets above a rough sea surface illuminated by antenna sources. The traditional MOM-PO algorithm requires complex visible surface determination, which is computationally intensive. This paper analyzes and proposes several approximation methods for visible surface determination in composite maritime targets under antenna illumination. These methods maintain computational accuracy while significantly improving the algorithm's efficiency.
