Optimization of Wind Power System with Fuzzy-PI Control for Axial Flux-Switching PM Generator

This study investigates a wind power generation system featuring an axial field flux-switching permanent magnet generator with a twisted structure (AFFSPM-TS), combined with direct-drive control. The system employs a fuzzy-PI method for voltage reference control, providing advantages such as simple structure, high power efficiency, and reliability compared to other systems. A wind power generation system is implemented using DSP. The experiments focus on the optimization of tip speed control strategy to maximize wind power output under various wind speed conditions. Fuzzy-PI controllers are used for voltage reference management, improving the system's response to environmental changes and enhancing overall performance. Experimental results confirm the performance and reliability of the introduced control strategy. for managing active and reactive power, demonstrating the system's robustness and precision across various operating conditions.
